Description
A packed Saturday all round the square with stuff popping up everywhere and at anytime. Come and check it out.
Main stage
12noon-9pm
On the festival Saturday this year, we will have some of the finest Youth bands from a Borough that can’t help making stars (Razorlight, VV Brown and E17 to name a few), 4 young bands from the CREATE Festival will rub shoulders with Samba, Gypsy, Acoustic Music from around the Global Local Project. Youth groups Estate Of The Arts, Youth Services, Youth Orchestra and more. Finally our headline and the cinema go hand in hand. In the evening things turn Rock and Roll. On stage the Grammy Nominated remixer Son Of Dave (8pm) who takes delta blues and mixes it into dance and disco and is something to behold - a true superstar of the festival world.

8 .15 Son of Dave – Our headliner from the multi award nominated remixer of Memphis and Missippi blues music into dance and beyond. Really great entertainer for all ages
Mcguffins Film in the Square
9pm-10.30pm
Across all the screens is “The girl can't help it" - Little Richard, Jayne Mansfield, Fats Domino, Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, a rock and roll super film. Bring blankets and food to share. With local shorts just before.
In the street and at The Mall
A packed celebration which includes heaps of street theatre from stilt walkers and magicians to bellydancers and Samba bands.
In the square during the day
Martial arts and boxing from the local KO Gym and local heroes of that world, with Terry Cole the famous Stronmgman flexing some mighty muscles.
25 local artists selected by the Walthamstow Arts Trail crew will be selling their wares in the square.
There will also be workshops, Albion Kids Show and Fairground Rides mostly free.
The Library gardens will feature its own ballroom , with dance from Red Onion, Whats Cooking, Shellac Players from Wood Street, Belly and Flamenco and Asian Dance.
