“Twisted Gypsy is a collaboration between DJ Kobayashi and Herbert Newbert the duo behind Gypsy Hill , an authentic Balkan/Gypsy/Swing/Mediterranean with a touch of electronic beats, scratching and uplifting bass lines. 
Their monthly night at the InSpiral Lounge in heart of Camden brings you the best beats from the Balkans, mixed with blasting Gypsy brass and the soul of the Flamenco.

The night includes the live musicians from the Gypsy Hill Project - Benson on trombone, Andy “Candy Man” Princz on the trumpet and The Froik keeping the rhythm on the classical guitar. 
Twisted Gypsy also have their very own visual extravaganza supplied by Hexagonz.

DJ Kobayashi is a regular DJ on the Gypsy scene around London, in productions such as Stranger than Paradise, Balkan Beats London Dimba Presents and is fresh off the back of supporting the legendary Balkan Beat Box in Rome.

Herbert Newbert is a producer/DJ and founder of world music act Native Horizon which mixes flamenco, folk, African and Arabic influences into a melting pot of groovy beats.

Their collaborative work includes remixes from different artist such as; Fanfare Ciocarlia, Besh o Drom, Kocani Orkestar, Boom Pam, Al Jawala and more as well as their own original material.”
