Heard of Arvon and want to know more? Curious about Comedy Writing? Hesitating over Historical Fiction? If you're wondering whether to do an Arvon course in 2010 or beyond, this free open evening is for you.
Drop in at Arvon's new central London home, Free Word, between 6.30pm and 8.00pm on Thursday 18 March. We'll be recreating the unique countryside environment of an Arvon writing house - right here in Farringdon. Relax in our Arvon kitchen, chat to a Centre Director about getting a grant, and find out exactly what happens during a typical Arvon week. Alternatively, just enjoy a glass of wine in the urban garden and dream of getting away from it all to your own writing haven. Arvon virgins will have a chance to win a free course and experience Arvon for the first time.
Some special guest writers whose work has been influenced by Arvon courses will be there to talk about their own Arvon experience. Make sure you're signed up to our newsletter to hear more details about the event as they're announced.
