The Vinyl Closet: Ted Brown and Brett Lock will shine a light into the dark musical closet of the pre-gay liberation era, investigating how queer gender and sexuality was represented on records. From the clubs of Harlem to the end of the Yellow Brick Road, taking in musicals, the blues and early rock 'n' roll, the pair will perform a few songs and play a few records while opening up the discussion of this fascinating period in LGBT history.
