The Scoop at More London
The handsome Don Juan is a devil with the ladies and a demon with a blade. He can seduce a pretty girl in a heartbeat with a flash of his smile... and silence an enemy in an instant with a flash of cold steel. Join the great swordsman and lover as he charms and murders his way through the high society and low dives of history in a feast of raucous comedy, swash-buckling adventure and heart-stopping drama.
But as the sun sets over the beautiful More London amphitheatre the ghosts of the Don's victims will gather seeking vengeance. The aristocrat must learn that there are consequences to a life of breaking hearts and destroying families... and in the London premiere of the beautiful 1839 dramatisation, by celebrated Spanish romantic José Zorrilla, it's a brave young woman who proves to be both his downfall and chance of salvation.
This much loved tale has inspired many other great writers down the centuries from Lord Byron to Molière to Mozart and the Steam Industry's action packed new production draws inspiration from them all to present a fast-paced new version for a city troubled by its own mixture of machismo and violence.
