London Mela 2010 explodes onto Gunnersbury Park in August with a huge programme of live entertainment and family activities inspired by South Asian culture.
Thousands of Londoners will be present at what is expected to be one of the biggest free festivals of the year. There will be seven zones with urban, classical and experimental music; DJs, circus, dance, theatre, visual arts, comedy and a children’s play area.
The Main Stage will have top line-ups from the UK and around the world, programmed by BBC Asian Network. The Classical and Community Stages will continue to bring artists together from across the globe while the variety and quality of the food will be as amazing as ever. The Magic Mela zone will captivate the kids and this year’s Asian Mix Tent will be bigger than ever.

Gunnersbury is jointly owned and run by Hounslow and Ealing Councils and recognised by many as one of the most important parks in the country.
The Gunnersbury Park Mansions are set within a beautiful 75 hectare (186 acre) Grade 2* registered landscape of exceptional mature trees, open grass spaces and historic buildings including an Orangery, ‘Princess Amelia’s’ Bath house, Gothic Ruins and the Stables. Gunnersbury Park House (the Large Mansion) is the home of the local history museum for the boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow. Public toilets are located at the museum during museum opening hours and Gunnersbury House (the Small Mansion) during park opening hours.
