Description
FREE conducted tours of this 200-year-old windmill which has all its wooden machinery in place (not working). The stairs are steep therefore sensible footwear and clothing should be worn. An adult must accompany a child.
Opening time is 2.00pm to 5.00pm - last admission at 5pm.
Access to the Mill is by guided tour and admission is free!!

Description
Upminster Windmill is considered to be one of the finest examples of a “Smock” windmill remaining in England. It was built in 1803 by James Noakes, a local farmer. Additional milling capacity was provided by the building of a steam mill in 1811.
