Barnardo’s will have about 25 participants taking part in the 2009 Mazda London Triathlon and we are now looking for volunteers who can be there over the 2 days to help make this event an experience to remember. This is the third year that Barnardo's have been involved in the event and we really need to show our runners that we can provide amazing ‘on the day’ support.

This will be a really fun volunteering role and the atmosphere on the day should be brilliant. The role of the volunteers is to encourage and support our runners along the route and we will need volunteers to be there roughly between 9am – 5pm on both days. However if you can only help for part of the time then that's absolutely fine. The volunteers will be positioned in one location around the route by the Excel Centre in London and will receive a thorough briefing before the event, re-imbursement of reasonable travel expenses if required, and refreshments on the day.
