Following The Reader, here we have another book adaptation with Brit director Sam Mendes at the helm reuniting his missus with Leo for another excellent awards-laden film. The film is set in the American suburbia that Mendes first successfully explored in American Beauty and paints a moving portrait of a marriage tragically imploding. Winslet is again tremendous and rightly deserved every award going, despite the Oscars preferring her role in The Reader. Anyway, another excellent, fascinating and intelligent film, highly recommended.

Most films are free entry, however due to recent changes, there is now a small cover charge on some screenings.
None of the screenings require tickets, simply come along and grab a chair / table. All the screenings operate on a first-come first-served basis, so arrive early if you want a sofa! If you want to come for dinner however, we can reserve you a table - please phone 020 7403 4423.
